Located in Qiliangqiao Township, Qiliang Cave is on the left side of Jishou-Fenghuang Expressway. The scenic area boasts mountains, rivers, canyons, rapids, cliffs, waterfalls, jungles, fields and rural villages, known for the four characteristics of “uniqueness, beauty, stillness and precipitousness”. There is a saying that the landscape of Qiliang Cave outshines those elsewhere.
The entrance of the cave is like the open mouth of a giant dragon, with a height of over 50 meters and a width of more than 20 meters. The cave is over 6,000 meters long with a clear stream passing through it. In the cave there are five scenic spots of the “Ancient Battlefield”, “Gallery”, “Paradise”, “Dragon Palace” and the “River of Yin and Yang”.
The mountains and caves add glamour to each other. An incomparable picture scroll is formed with various stalagmites, stone columns and stalactites in different shapes.
